Synopsis

WHERE WALKS A SNOWMAN During a crime in progress, Batman arrives at the scene to help the GCPD Headquarters. He goes inside the building the crooks have been using to hold their ground, but once inside, he notices that there is only one criminal and that he is out of his mind. The thug keeps repeating the same thing about a monster attacking his friend Jackie and Batman soon learns the truth after he captures the thug: Jackie has been frozen alive.   At the GCPD Headquarters, Batman and Gordon analyze the evidence and conclude that Jackie's death was caused by some supernatural force. Without much to work on, Batman returns to the Wayne Foundation Penthouse, where Bruce Wayne is hosting a party and one of the guests is Klaus Kristin, professional athlete of winter sports. Bruce notices a bit of slush on Klaus's shoes and he becomes suspicious of the man.  Soon, Batman goes to investigate Kristin's apartment and finds the 1954 diary of the athlete's late mother. Meanwhile, a powerful snowman creature appears in Gotham City and steals valuable jewels. Moments later, Batman and Alfred read the diary, and learn that Klaus Kristin is the hybrid son of a woman called Katrina Kristin and the legendary creature, the Yeti.   Batman then travels to Austria, following Klaus Kristin and challenges him to a confrontation in the mountains. Batman goes prepared with his ski equipment, but it has little effect against the powerful Snowman. The confrontation leads them to the edge of an abyss, where Batman uses a marker flare to blind his opponent and as a result, the Snowman falls to his apparent demise. MURDER ON THE MIDWAY Dick Grayson was summoned to by his clown friend Waldo Flynn to Hill's Circus, where he tries out for the acrobatic act, only to become Robin when it appears that Waldo has murdered a rival clown. As the police investigates the murder, Robin sets out to find the real killer, but he is shocked when the first person that he comes across is Lorna Hill, the owner of the circus.
